Microsoft has announced Avatar Famestar, a brand new program which rewards players for playing Avatar-centric XBLA games. The program will launch alongside Wreckateer, and will also support Full House Poker and A World of Keflings. Completing various challenges in any of these games will win you Famestar points that will add to your cross-game total, and these earning will grant you rewards (probably Avatar items). There are also many game coming down the line which will also be Famestar-supported, including Homerun Stars, Avatar Motocross Madness, and Fire Pro Wrestling, a game which has been quiet for over a year. Avatar Famestar is linking some great XBLA games and giving away free rewards, so it will definitely be worth checking out when it launches Wednesday.
